It is a condition of all the insurers on the panel that cars to be insured are UK based, and journeys both begin and end in the UK. Therefore, policies cannot be purchased from abroad.

However you could always ask a friend or relative in the UK to get quotes for you, and then you could buy a policy once you have arrived in Britain.

Unfortunately applications from motorists from other countries with International Driving Licences cannot be accepted at present.
