They also claim to offer products from RAC Motoring Services & RAC Insurance Limited for Tesco Bank Breakdown Cover, and Tesco Underwriting Limited for Tesco Bank for 'Upgraded Courtesy Car Cover' and 'Tesco Bank Driver Injury Cover'.
They offer Black box (telematics or pay-as-you-go) insurance policies for drivers aged 17 to 25 and claim to offer personalised premiums based on how policyholders drive. Their black box insurance (called Bank Box) includes a small device fitted to the car that measures mileage and driving style, tracking factors like acceleration, braking, mileage and how the vehicle is driven.
